Shelbi & Aerky are THE life of the party. Their San Marcos Wedding in the heart of the Texas Hill Country was a Bohemian extravaganza filled with joy, laughter, family, and friends. The light was absolutely magical all day, with overcast skies giving way to bright blues, culminating in the most enchanting full moon. Their unforgettable ceremony took place at the idyllic La La Park in Wimberley, Texas, just a stone's throw away from Roughhouse Brewing. Located conveniently near San Marcos, Texas, this venue was perfect for the entire party to stay on property.
As I arrived, I found Aerky and his groomsmen lounging in an above-ground pool, savoring moments of relaxation before the festivities began. Meanwhile, Shelbi and her bridesmaids were utilizing the charming upstairs suite to prepare for the big day.
The ceremony unfolded beneath the sprawling canopy of a magnificent grandmother oak tree, just as the sun began its descent below the horizon. Opting for a Hill Country wedding was a brilliant choice, as the natural beauty of the area served as an exquisite backdrop, requiring minimal floral adornments or extra candles to enhance the space.
The bohemian-themed flower arrangements, complemented by vintage furniture, perfectly accentuated Shelbi's stunning designer country bohemian style wedding dress, creating a Texas Hill Country dream come true.
To cap off the night in style, the couple hosted a lively celebration under the radiant full moon. Shelbi, embracing the party spirit, swapped her wedding gown for a sparkling cocktail dress, paired with her charming baby blue cowgirl boots.
