Florence, Italy is one of the most romantic cities in the world. With it’s meandering alleys and statues older than some countries, the art and history create a feeling of wonder and comfort.

Paulina and Erick have been exploring Italy for some time and invited me to come out to play and walk thousands of steps with them all over the city of Florence. On one side of the Arno River, sprawling alleys with restaurants and cafe’s on every corner. Some of the best vintage and thrift shopping you can find. Plus, all of the makers of jewelry and Italian leather goods. You can literally find anything you want in this city. On the other side of the Arno, you find the tuscany hills, non stop rose and flower gardens, and the best views of the city center. The city of Florence, Italy is nothing short of magical.

I wanted to capture this magic, playfulness and art that just seeps from this city for Paulina + Erick’s engagement session. Even something that seemes mundane, like the cobblestone streets you find in many european cities, were breathtaking. We walked all over the old historic town of Florence, Italy and spent the day exploring the streets together. The Duomo, the Vecchio Bridge with only the finest jewelers, and the palazzo michelangelo were only some of the historic spots we stopped at.

As we walked the street’s we saw why this city is most well known for it’s art. Artist’s were posted up on every street corner, at every fountain, drawing or painting the views. An absolute mecca for the artistic desire. If you are wanting to create your engagement session here, there are a million hidden coves and turns that would make it unique.
